We’re thrilled to share the outstanding success of Jeyashree S, who delivered a stellar performance at the Kings Mate Chess Academy Chengalpattu District Level Tournament, held on 13th July 2025 at ELA Green School, Karambur, Maraimalai Nagar.

Competing in the Under-9 Girls category with 29 participants, Jeyashree showed superb consistency and sharp tactical play across 5 rounds, scoring an impressive 4.5 out of 5.

Entering as the 9th seed, she rose to claim 1st place, earning the title of District Champion with a remarkable performance rating of 1766. Her calm focus, excellent calculation, and determined mindset truly stood out throughout the event.
