We are delighted to share the success of Rochan K Dhanasekur, who secured the 2nd place trophy in the Mohamed Sathak Independence day State-Level Under-13 Chess Tournament, held at Siruseri IT Park on 17th August 2025.
Rochan competed fiercely among 42 players in the Under-13 category across 6 rounds. Starting as the 4th seed, he demonstrated strong consistency and determination, scoring an impressive 5 points out of 6 to secure a podium finish.
His excellent performance earned him a performance rating of 1653, showcasing both his solid preparation and fighting spirit at every stage.
