We’re thrilled to highlight the outstanding performance of Pugazh Vinoth, the youngest FIDE rated player in our academy at just 5 years old, who secured 5th place at the iMacs State Level Chess Tournament, held on 5th October 2025.
Competing in the Under-7 category with 51 participants across 7 rounds, Pugazh showed excellent focus and maturity beyond his years, finishing with a solid 5 points out of 7.
Earning a FIDE rating at such a young age is a rare achievement — and Pugazh continues to impress with his strong tournament performances.
