We are proud to announce that our student Ananya Ranjithkumar has won 1st Prize in the Under-18 Girls Category at the recently held 3rd Check N Mate Rapid FIDE Rating Tournament in Bengaluru.
Ananya, born in 2010 and rated 1496 FIDE, has been making steady progress in her chess journey. Over the past couple of months, she has pushed her ChessTempo rating beyond 2100, showing great improvement in her tactical calculation and decision-making skills.
In this event, she scored 6 points out of 9 rounds and delivered a solid performance to emerge as the top finisher in her category. She was awarded a trophy for her achievement.
