We are delighted to share a milestone moment for our student Neshaanth M S, who delivered a fantastic performance at the 2nd ChessFusion Open and Age Category Chess Tournament, held on 21st June 2025 at PU College, Bengaluru.
Playing in the Under-8 category, Neshaanth entered the event as the 44th seed among 72 players, and scored a strong 5 out of 7 points—earning a Top 10 finish in the Boys section with a performance rating of 1558.
This result is especially impressive given his starting rank, and highlights how much effort and progress he’s made through training and consistent play. Climbing more than 30 spots in a single tournament reflects resilience, focus, and tactical maturity—key qualities we nurture at Tamil Chess Coach.
