We’re proud to announce that our student Rakshit Ragavendra secured an outstanding 4th place at the 33rd Abu Dhabi Amateur Chess Tournament, held from May 26 to 28, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Rakshit scored an impressive 5 points out of 7 rounds, competing with players from across the globe in this prestigious event. His stellar performance earned him 4th place in the final standings and a cash prize of 500 AED.
💬 Coach’s Note
“Rakshit is always thinking about chess — it’s like nothing else exists for him! He’s fully focused and very respectful during class. He asks his doubts so softly and politely, but they’re always thoughtful. In the previous tournament, he didn’t do well after a long break and was really disappointed. But he didn’t let that stop him. He bounced back, put in serious effort, and now he’s earned this great result. I’m really happy to see his hard work pay off.”
Rakshit’s next goal is to cross the 1600 FIDE rating barrier within a year, and we’re confident he’s well on track to achieve it.
🎉 Congratulations once again, Rakshit! We look forward to many more milestones in your chess journey

Congratulations Rakshit anna for your wonderful achievement
