We’re proud to share the remarkable achievement of our student Sasvath K, who clinched 3rd prize in the Under-12 category at the 64 Squares Chess Academy Tournament, held on 20th July 2025 at Chennai Citi Centre, Mylapore.
Competing against 53 participants across 7 rounds, Sasvath displayed outstanding focus and maturity, finishing with a strong 5.5 points out of 7. Despite tough competition, his consistent performance earned him a performance rating of 1638.
Starting as the top seed, Sasvath held his ground with confident play and sharp calculations, proving once again that he’s a rising talent to watch.
