We’re proud to celebrate yet another strong performance from our student Sasvath K, who secured 2nd place in the Under-11 category at the 4th TN State-Level Tournament organized by Balu Chess Academy on 27th July 2025 at Valluvar Gurukulam Higher Secondary School.
With 82 participants and 6 competitive rounds, Sasvath displayed exceptional skill and consistency, scoring 5.5 out of 6. Entering the event as the top seed, he lived up to expectations with a powerful performance and finished with an impressive performance rating of 1420, placing 2nd overall in his category.
His ability to maintain focus and handle pressure in a large field is a testament to his dedication and growing maturity on the board.
