We’re excited to celebrate the impressive achievement of Thanigaidev S at the Boys Super Chess Tournament, held on 13th July 2025 at Parimalam Mahal, Erode.
Competing in the Under-9 category against a large and competitive field of 62 players, Thanigaidev scored an excellent 5 out of 6, demonstrating strong tactical skills, focus, and consistency throughout the event.
Starting as the 50th seed, he climbed all the way to 4th place, with a performance rating of 1673—a clear testament to his steady preparation and fighting spirit at the board.
