On 24th August 2025, our student Yagesh delivered an excellent performance at the 2nd Brigade One Day Rapid Chess Tournament, held at Summit @ Brigade Metropolis, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru.
Competing in a highly competitive field, Yagesh demonstrated strong consistency and fighting spirit across all rounds, finishing with an impressive performance that secured him the 3rd Place Trophy.
This event saw ₹40,000 in cash prizes, 54 trophies, and 50 medals being awarded, making Yagesh’s achievement even more remarkable. His determination and composure under time pressure (15+5 time control) clearly stood out, proving his ability to handle intense tournament conditions.
